About once an hour since 2007 someone has sent hate mail to popular global radio personality Roy Gray. Par for the proverbial course for an entertainer with a long running publicity campaign. But then there are the once a week supportive comments that have come in for almost as long regarding the stations on the Jazz Joy and Roy Global Radio Network. A few are documented here.

Harvey Schiller said, “I usually turn down the volume of the TV news and turn up your History Radio station.”

Longtime listener Hank Summers said, “I love Jazz and I think it’s so cool that your ‘Crossover Jazz Global Radio JJ&R’ station jam packs all those Jazz hits into your programming. Outta site!”

Supportive comments from veteran actor Telma Hopkins famously asked the rhetorical question, “Man, does Roy have a great voice or what!?”

Michelle Wlodkowski wanted to know, “Roy, does your family know how good your network sounds? If I was in your family, I would get such of kick out of hearing you say stuff like ‘Turn off that AC’ and telling door to door salespeople ‘Sorry, we’re not interested!’”

According to Sweetie Davies, “Your Country Music stations are there for me whenever I want to practice my line dancing. I dance my head off when you play the fast songs and cool down on the slow ones. And I love that you guys make it so easy to repeat a song again and again.”

American National acting treasure Jenifer Lewis said to Roy, “I love your voice, just love it!”

Alecia Tolbert told the network, “I can always find a station that suits my needs whenever I go to JazzJoyandRoy.com. I like the comedy songs.”

Jazz Joy and Roy Global Radio founder Roy Gray is also especially fond of the supportive comments from Harriet Lynn, Missy Lansing, Paul Baer, Jimmy Sandrich, Francis Whedon, Reggie Toth, Regina Camp, and Nadia Howard, to name just a few more, as well as countless other notable commenters.

Gray suggested that listeners search online for “Supportive Jazz Joy and Roy Comments.”
