This Week in Crypto Games: Gaming Tokens Crash Out, Eve Frontier Opens Up

The crypto and nft gaming space has lately been busier than ever, which with prominent games that are starting to release, token airdrops accumulate and an apparently constant series of other things that happen at all times. It’s a lot to take!

Biggest news

Gaming -Tokens bombing: Crypto-assets large and small have made wild swings in recent weeks in the midst of the ever-changing trade war of President Trump, but gaming tokens are hit harder than most. And if you view Coingecko’s list of the top 100 coins per market capitalization, gaming tokens are nowhere to be found.

Immutable (IMX) was the last hold -out, but it fell out of the ranking last Monday and only returned to the midweek briefly. About a year ago there were six gaming tokens on the list, including the Sandbox (Sand) and Gala Games (Gala), but no longer. All long-term gaming majors have fallen considerably, while the largest new gaming tokens from last year have all crated since then.

We have received the problems that the Crypto gaming space has lately, and how wider cryptotrends influence the value of gaming tokens, whereby experts from the industry share their thoughts about the current state of affairs.

Eve Frontier Trial: Eve Frontier, a MMO Space Survival Game based on Ethereum, started a free 10 -day trial period on 11 April, allowing players to explore his universe without the benefits of paid founders access passes. The test – which ends on April 21 – takes together with the third phase of the game, usually a period for implementing new functions.

CCP games, which picked up $ 40 million in 2023 to expand its EVE online universe via Blockchain, launched Alfa access for Eve Frontier with Foundaters Access Passes in December with Foundaters Access Passes priced between $ 30- $ 90. This consolidation is intended to unite its game ecosystem after substantial growth for the ZKEVM network, which has had almost 150 Million network, which has been introduced since the start of 202 Million network.

For users, the transition will largely be automatic, with assets being transferred to existing portfolios, although there will be an opt-out option available. However, GAME developers are confronted with larger adjustments, including outdated APIs that require certain mechanics to be re -implemented and changes in collective addresses.

Guild of Guardians has already completed this migration, whereby the upgrade is set on the platform for other remarkable games, such as God’s Unchained and Illuvium.
