Wiener Bank Partners with Real Finance

by shayaan

Wiener Bank SE, that provides private banking and asset management, partners with Real Finance to apply blockchain technology in asset management. The collaboration will allow Wiener Bank to use Real Finance’s infrastructure to improve custody, tokenization, and digital asset services. The aim is to increase security and efficiency while linking traditional banking with DeFi.

With this partnership, Wiener Bank will add blockchain-based custody for tokenized assets and expand the use of asset tokenization, which converts RWAs into digital tokens to improve liquidity and access.

Real Finance provides a blockchain built for institutional use. Its design includes accountable validators, tokens with built-in risk and insurance data, and a recovery fund that avoids inflationary risks. The system is compatible with existing Ethereum-based applications and scalable through the Cosmos SDK. At launch, Real Finance expects more than $500 million in assets to be onboarded, with support from partners including Wiener Privatbank and Experian.
